Three games from our family to yours

Most of what I write here is about the grammar of the Qur'an. This post is a little different. Over the past few weeks our family has made three games, first with the children in our own home in mind, and they are now on the app stores. I would like to share them with you, in case they are useful in your home too.

Bubble Buddies (for young children)

A gentle bubble shooter with a new Learn mode: every bubble shows a letter, a number or a shape, and every pop says it out loud. Children hear their ABCs and count to 20 while they play, rescue kittens and fill a 48-sticker book. There are no ads, and a grown-ups corner lets you set a play-time limit.

Puzzle Pals (for young children)

Jigsaw puzzles for small hands: twelve cheerful pictures, each in Easy (9 pieces), Medium (16) and Hard (25), with a happy cheer for every finished puzzle. No ads, no chat, no accounts, and it works offline.

Jungle Monster Hunt (ages 13 and up)

A 3D adventure for teenagers and adults: track monsters through a jungle, climb trees, wade through streams, and take the shot with a crossbow or a long-range bow. There is no blood; the monsters simply topple over. Android only for now.

Get it on Google Play

Each game is free to download and try. One small, one-time purchase opens the full game: there are no subscriptions and no ads.

A small request. New apps live or die by their first few ratings. If you try one of them, an honest rating or a one-line review on the store would help other families find it, and it would mean a great deal to us.

All three games, together with the Quran apps, are listed at seemabooks.com/apps.

The grammar lessons continue as usual, insha'Allah.

Get the next lesson by email — and a free PDF, The 86 Particles of the Qur'an, with your welcome note. Free, unsubscribe any time.
